Making a big stink about your layperson understanding of electrical
phenomena, center-tapped transformers, and sinusoidal signals and
pretending that a Gish gallop of "Euler's Sine Wave Summation Equation"
(ie: not a real thing) has a damn thing to do with determining a voltage
potential between f(x) and f(y).
Euler's equation describes the relationship between the imaginary
trigonometric components and the real components of the system. This
isn't needed at all when calculating the sum of 2-dimensional sinusoidal
functions. If you want to calculate magnetic flux or do a phasor
analysis, then it's a different story. if you want to simply know what
the voltage amplitude of two summed functions is, then it's clear that
the answer is f(x) - f(y) where x=y and x and y are the time (t) at which
you would like to know the voltage differential.
Odd that only one person on usenet was able to successfully dispel that
nonsense and hammer it into the thick skull of a VERY desperate usenet
